I ordered the chip sear
for my 1100 v star but before it was shipped I traded for
the 1300. I made 1 quick call to PCS, got it changed without any
problems. I got the new bike on a Tuesday put a couple hundred miles
on it, Friday my new seat arrived, immediately installed it and
took off. All I can say about it is "AWESOME" the more I ride the
better I like It. Thanks PCS

Installed your new seats
for my bike and I am REALLY happy with them! Great fit and finish
and the comfort is FAR greater than stock. My wife and I took a
200 mile test ride (each way) and butt ache is now history!
Best part is that they retain the stock appearance and that is one
of the main reasons we bought our bike. The best part is the low
price for the seat set! You just can't beat it! Thank you for you
excellent service.

Before buying your seat
for my star 1300, I looked at other seats from different companies
out there in the market and have been eyeing your seat for a long
time. Finally I decided to give it a try. I received your "original
tour" seat yesterday and it looks amazing, looks professionally
finished too. I sat on my stock seat and compared it to your seat
and I must say that the PCS seat is way more comfortable. You sit
in the seat rather than on top of the stock seat which is very uncomfortable
for your lower back and especially on those long rides. Thanks again
to PCS. I will be telling other riders about your great product
and great customer service.

I have the regular seat
with studs, the Pacific Coast seat is much more comfortable, I can
ride longer with no pain, the seating position is a bite lower which
is nice, it feels like a little forward also but not much, when
I got it and took it out of the box it looked like a brand new seat.
For the price this was a good buy and worthwhile doing!

The 'Potato chip' seat:
I just came back from a 1900 mile run from Vallejo, CA to Forks,
WA and back again. Thinking I should use the touring seat,
I decided to put the 'Chip' & the passenger pillion through its
paces. I'm thrilled to report this seat is more comfortable than
any seat I had or have now. I could put on way more miles
& my wife was a lot more comfortable also. The black ostrich adds
so much class to the look of the bike. Style & comfort. I
have it all. Good job Pacific Coast star!!

Hello PCS,
Why did I wait so Long? Just received my new classic seat for my
ride. Wow, it not only looks great but rides like a dream. On the
old stock seat, after 30-40 minutes I started to feel back pain.
Rode my ride for 2 hours with your new seat. It was a whole new
experience in riding....no pain...no stiffness. Way to go PCS! Thanks
for a great product. With the money saved by not purchasing a product
made elsewhere, I can now shop around for new pipes.

I've waited to email
and let you know how much I liked my seat, till I was sure.
Guys,.. you have it down to a science!! I'm a BIG guy and
I rode 100 - 150 miles the first few trips and when I got off to
get gas, I wasn't crippled in my lower back and butt. I then tackled
the Tail of the Dragon, Cherohala Skyway, & 350 miles of the Blue
Ridge Parkway. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!! I was able to
enjoy a road trip that I couldn't have before I got my seat. Comfortable
and looks GREAT thanks again Big -C-

Just got the Potato
Chip, Lowering Kit, and Forward Control Extenders. WOW! Can't believe
the difference this stuff made, my ride height is now 25", my balance
is SOOOOO much better, and with my feet moved forward I feel like
I'm riding my recliner down the highway. Seat is very comfortable,
infinitely better than stock despite the thin profile. I'm 6'1"
and 225 lbs, but there is still plenty of cushion. The forward controls
were easy to install, took maybe 20 minutes. The lowering kit was
a little more difficult, but with a Sears bike lift or similar it
shouldn't take you more than an hour or so. I am not too handy with
a wrench, I don't even change my own oil, but I got them installed
with minimal headaches. All in all I'd say I am more than thrilled
with the products I purchased and recommend them and Pacific Coast
Star to anyone looking for quality affordable accessories.

Thanks for working with
me on my seat. The stock Yamaha seat has been reasonable, but I
knew more comfort was to be had. I tried the Chip seat which was
fabulous around town. I have a 32" inseam. A ride to and from Santa
Barbara convinced me to try the regular PCS custom seat. The first
six times I sat on it while riding, the seat was more comfortable
each time I sat on it. Now I'm ready for long-haul riding. The cost?
Ridiculously low. The look? Best-ever. I'm in the midst of installing
the PCS Chrome stock wheel conversion. The beauty of these wheels
is not to be believed until they are received. I also added a riser
tach to the bike and couldn't be happier with its looks and performance.
I'd advise everyone who has a V-Star to look to PCS first. Lastly,
I received the PCS forward controls kit. Beats the heck out of the
competition which I had to return for multiple problems. Not so
with the PCS.

Bought your seat and

Hello,
I just wanted to drop a quick note concerning the seat you provided
for my Road Star. I've been on a couple fairly long rides since
receiving it and my rear end is very happy now. I don't get that
numb feeling after the first 50 miles. You have a very happy customer.
I'll spread the word about Pacific Coast Star to all who are looking

Well... I received
the new seat on Tuesday, during a rather intense rain storm - With
life as a grown up interfering with my druthers, I wasn't able to
go for a long ride until today. With my butt planted firmly on my

Cannon Beach and back (250+ miles) without trouble-- Damn nice seat

Just received my new
potato chip seat last week and don’t ever let anyone tell you different
– potato chips ARE good for your butt!!! Together with
the PCS rear lowering kit, my bike is slammed to the ground.
The seat has totally changed the attitude and appearance of my Star
and the ride and build quality of the seat is superb, not to mention
the fantastic price. Have patience once you place your order
and rest assured it is worth the wait. Don’t wait, however,
any longer… if you’re thinking about a new seat for your Star, order
it from PCS!!!

I did a lot of research
on seats and couldn't believe how expensive they can be, but then
I came across the PCS website, read the testimonials, the unbeatable
return policy (return after a week with no questions asked) not
to mention the LOW PRICE and just had to try purchasing a seat from
them. I opted for the potato chip seat and lowering kit, I now know
what people mean by riding in the bike as oppose to on top of the
bike, definitely more control and stability. Thanks guys for making
affordable custom seats. I already have in mind what I will be purchasing
in the future from you guys.

Recently purchased the
"regular" seat. Much better than the factory seat. Flat level seating
verses the butt numbing hump of the factory seat. Plus really finishes

You know...When I got
the Roadstar, I rode it like everyone else and said to myself, what
the hell is up with that seat?!? And, why are the handlebars SO
far forward? I'm 6' tall and not a small dude by anyone's measure.
I got wind of PCS and had 'em put on the Chip. My God. What a difference.
Lower, better control, better look, you name it.
I've thrown a bunch of chrome on the bike and have finally just
dropped off the bike at their shop for new bars, braided lines,
chromage and a few other things. They need to keep my scooter for
a few weeks and you know what, as bad as I'm jonesin' to have it
back already (just dropped it off last night), I don't have a problem
with them hanging on to it. I know it's in good hands. These guys
gave me a good price and have always given me great service with
a handshake.
Highly recommended to all, no reservations. You just don't find
people like this too often, let alone in the automotive/cycling
industry. Give 'em support and business guys, they got it comin'.

I just want to start
off and say that PCS customer service is excellent. I had a miscommunication
and my seat did not get ordered when they said it did. Cary wrote
me an e-mail and we had it straightened out in now time. Not too
many companies like to take the blame but he did. Anyway the seat
has been on the bike for 2 years and 20,000 miles all I can say
is awesome!!!!!!!!!!! I can ride for hours and with the OEM after
about 100 miles I was sore, and you cannot beat the price. I would
highly recommend the seat to any one. I got the Original.

I just had to drop a
not to say what an exceptional product you folks have. I started
out by purchasing your lowering kit for my V Star 1100 Classic,
and man, what a huge difference it made. I then had to purchase
your Potato Chip seat and what an even bigger difference that made.
It gave my bike the exact look I as looking for. I placed my order
for the seat on a Sunday evening and had my new seat on my bike
by Thursday afternoon. I couldn't be happier. And I forgot to mention
that the lowering kit took me a total of 45 minutes to install.
Thanks again for making my bike the bike I had always imagined.

I just wanted to say
that the Chip seat is awesome! It gives the bike a much more custom

Where to start? I initially
ordered the Ultimate Slam kit and an AIS kit in February, and had
them installed the day I got them - WOW what a difference! I swear
I sit 4 inches lower than stock. (of course I had to shovel snow
to get the bike into the garage from the shed, so I couldn't ride
it yet - arghhhh!)
Then I decided spring was a ways off and went ahead and ordered
the air cleaner and had Greg and Cary Chrome it for me as well.
The bike is now together, the snow is gone (almost) and I've had
her out on the road again. I can't believe the difference in the
feel of riding now with the chip seat and lowering kit. And the
look of that DPM air cleaner is fantastic! Thanks again guys for
your wonderful and fast service, as well as a great product!

I was skeptical at first
-- how can a seat which cost a fraction of the competition's be
as good as the competition -- I said NO WAY possible! That was until
I sat down on one of your seats. I immediately said YES WAY possible!
All I can say is that PCS may not have the brand name of Corbin
or Mustang or LePera and all those other brands - remember this,
let your butt do the judging and you will soon realize that the
PCS seat is as good as any of the others mentioned (plus you save
mucho $$$ for the chrome goodies).
The cool thing about the guys is that they know how to wrench and
they know their Yamahas. For me it was worth the 200+ miles round
trip to get there and back. The advice and work (fixed most(?)of
the things the dealer screwed up on) they did for me was worth my
time. In fact, I hope to see you guys soon. By the way, PCS sells
more than just seats -- this website does not do justice for all
the other goodies they sell. SoCal riders, make the trip to Dana
Point and do yourself and your bike a favor. I'm sure glad I did.

Mt. Baldy & A Coastal
Sunset Cruz-z-z!
Early one July morning, the San Diego Star Club met for a group
ride up to Mt. Baldy. It's about a 300 mile round trip if you follow
the coast line back.
First, all the members had to gather round my bike and comment about
how way cool and/or wicked the 'Warrior' looked. And, how did I
lower it and where did that seat come from? I pointed to my Pacific
Coast Star hat and shared the web site address with them.
The ride was a combination of freeway speed runs and mountain twisties
in 105 degree heat. My seat stayed cool and comfortable while the
bike handled great! The long coast line cruise was awesome during
a perfect sunset. What a way to experience a cool bike set up and
a fun ride...
Readers; check out my bike picture on the lowering kits page! It's
not hard to find. :~)
Guys; these are some good sites for sharing info and stuff. Join
ABATE and help preserve our right to ride free and safe!
Your stuff is really great! Thanx...SunSoul

Had Greg and Cary custom

Wanted one of your seats
and finally decided to try the "potato chip". It takes a while to
get used to the ride (as good or better than stock), but I really
like the look it gives the Classic. If you want the stock width,
go with the "original". If you want a good feel and a great look,
get the "chip". This one modification made the biggest difference
in both the comfort and looks of my ride.

I shopped the entire
market and found the PCS Original to be the best value and had lots
of good testimonial feedbacks about the seat and the excellent service.
I agree Cary and Greg are really interested in customer satisfaction.
I was fortunate and had a great ride to their shop to get the seat.
While there and recognizing these guys cared about me and answered
my many questions, I bought a lowering kit also. Both the Original
and the lowering kit make the bike a lot more balanced and after
about 500 miles of riding, the seat is much better than the stock
one. I expect it to get better as time passes. I am over 60 years
old and really needed this to make my riding more enjoyable.
Cary and Greg thanks a million.

NO MORE GUMMI BEARS
FOR ME! Just back from 1265 mile trip to Myrtle Beach, including
a little jaunt into North Carolina. The potato chip is better than
I had even hoped. NO tailbone pain! Feels good, looks good. It sits
me a couple inches lower than stock, and with the rear lowering
kit and 2" risers on the bars, I've got the perfect kinda laid-back
driving position for me. The ONLY complaint I have is that it took
almost a month to get the seat. You might want to ask how long it'll
take when you are ordering it (I didn't) so you are not waiting
impatiently. Plan ahead. I think you'll find it's worth the wait!!

My wife hates the PCS

I tried out my "original"

Finally got the chance
to take a ride with the new potato chip seat on my Classic. What
a difference! Love the way you feel a part of the bike instead of
riding on top of it! Just a short ride but the seat felt really
comfortable. Craftsmanship is top quality. Seat really looks good
on the bike. Your prices are so reasonable too. Thanks for offering
such a good seat for a great price. I returned my stock seat
the day I received the potato chip. I just knew I'd love it even
before taking a ride.
Keep up the good work! I'd recommend the PCS seat to everyone.

PCS custom cut my V-Star
seat and it is like riding a lazyboy recliner. I didn't like the
stock seat on my new V-Max so I had PCS Custom cut the V-Max seat.
Well, I just did 75 miles on my V-Max and it works great. Thanks.

Cary and Greg customized
my seat to fit me better and support my back. As an Orthopedic Surgeon,
I can recommend this seat shaping to ease the back. It is much more
comfortable now due to improved ergonomics. That same night they
lowered the back of my bike with their "special" kit. With the new
seat and the lowered wheel, the bike definitely handles better.
Seems there is more traction on turns due to lower center of gravity.
This metric bike is looking more like an expensive Harley every
time I go to Pacific Coast!!!!!

Well the wife has gotten
some seat time on the passenger seat and she said there is a noticeable
difference. A lot more comfortable on her butt and back. We have
only done a few short rides, but she is much happier. Now we're
both stylin' and happy on our PCS seats!

I, like many of the
other testimonials, thank Cary and Greg. I drove up to their shop
on an original Magna seat that would put my rear end to sleep in
40 miles or less. I left with the same seat modified to give me
more space and deeper. I have more leg room and I actually sit farther
away from the handlebars. Their dedication to make me (the customer)
feel good was something I had not run into in quite some time. I
am really happy that I did it. Kevin (Chief)

I have just witnessed
a "Butt Miracle." I installed your redesigned "original" seat, and
spent 20 minutes just sitting on it--almost lounging in it. Then
I rode it for over 1 painless hour. You guys are the Sultans of
Seats. It's sad to think that so many people will pay so much money
for "overpriced, over-hyped name-brand seats" when all they need
is a PSC Original or Potato Chip seat.
I'll do my best to make sure my Yamaha friends know about you. Seriously,
thanks so much for making my bike more fun, more comfortable and,
I think, more safe to ride. The stock torture seat that came with
my bike is limping its way back to you. Cary and Greg, thanks to
both of you.

Total customer satisfaction!
I would just like to extend a written thanks for the optimum quality
"Potato Chip" seat. You were quite accurate when you described the
new feel one would experience when riding on the "Potato Chip" seat.
While riding I began to feel a oneness w/my putt, rather than having
the same old feeling that I was riding on top of it. You guys are
a team that most definitely work harmoniously w/each other. In addition,
I find it extremely nice to have my 2001 Midnight Star lowered by
you guys! Its like having a brand new bike. When both of my feet
are on the ground my knees are even bent and that's quite new for
a guy thats 5'7". I am extremely grateful for your assistance and
I hope to continue to do business w/you in the future. You guys
certainly contributed to me feeling right at home and confident
with you working on my prized possession.

Hey guys, got my seat
and I love it. This thing really fits me like a glove. The "Potato
Chip" coupled with the lowering kit sat my bike down just the way
I like it. You guys are great to do business with, I will be back.
I recommend you guys to all of my Star riding friends. Thanks again.

Hey guys, just got home
from your shop and wanted to say thanks again for the new ride.
What a difference! Without a doubt the best bang for the buck I've
ever seen. Thanks for allowing me to watch the potato chip conversion.
You guys are indeed artists. I'll be in touch soon for the additional
work we spoke of. If it's as high quality as the potato chip I'm
sure I will be extremely pleased. Jeff

I sent my custom painted
helmet for you to match the custom paint on my bike, and the results
are in. The seat blends in with the bike and does not distract from
it as the standard black did. It is awesome. The "potato chip" seat
is also more comfortable, I'll even ride when it is in the 40's.
It is that good. If anyone needs a seat I tell them there is only
one place to get one. Your product is fantastic. Thanks again.

Cary and Greg you guys
are GREAT! I wanted to spend the big bucks for one of the commercial
seats out there but decided to give PCS's seat a work out so I had
their "original" delivered prior to my June 2001 trip to Hot Springs
AR for the ISRA Cruise In. Well I put 2,400 miles on that seat in
a week and loved every mile, no more sore Butt! The seat set me
back and "into" the bike and I actually feel a part of the bike
instead of riding on it. I now average 300-500 mile days on the
weekends that I am off and wish I had a larger tank at times. I
would have never enjoyed my bike as much with out your exchange
seat program. Thanks to PCS's seat I even was able to complete the
IBA 1000 mile run in less than 22 hours with no discomfort! I now
have put over 8,000 miles on the "Original" PCS exchange seat and
still love it as much as I did the first time I laid my rear onto
it. You guys are great and it was a pleasure doing business with
you and I look forward to doing business with you again in the near
future. Willis Dickens

Cary and Greg have been
awesome to deal with. I wanted a special leather seat for my bike
that I was customizing. They worked with me to match the seat to
paint, and gave me suggestions. The bike looks great, and they rush
shipped it to me here in Florida in time for me to place 2nd in
the Jacksonville custom bike show. Getting beaten in this show by
a tailored custom built chopper, that didn't even have a speedo
or tach. I have had a ton of compliments on the seat and I have
referred several people to Pacific Coast Star, and will continue
to refer. Thanks guys, the product is great and the customer service
is even better. Mark "Bulldog" Nelson

Hey Guys,
I've got a potato chip stuck to my butt... and I LOVE IT!
I got my potato chip seat and the standard pillion for my 1100 custom
and its great. The look flows with the lines of the bike...
it puts me in a lower, more comfortable and cooler looking riding
position. Plus, the potato chip seat actually looks great with the
standard pillion.
Great job,Lawrence Lyles

I put the seat on last
night, rode 100 miles after work today, and I am truly pleased with
your product. I thought perhaps you impregnated the seat with
Novocain, because my butt didn't hurt at all. Best money I've
spent on the Bike. Jim Gelhar

We had the "Original"
job done on my stock RoadStar seats and are very happy with the
results. Went for a long test ride and my wife and I both could
tell that the comfort level of our seats had improved greatly. Great
service from Cary and Greg at Pacific Coast Star!

Last Saturday and Sunday
Tracy and I logged in over 700 mile on "Tuff" (my 1100 classic V-Star),
now I know this isn't alot compared to some of the Wing Riders but
it is alot on a Cruiser or at least alot to me. Before I had my
seat and pillion reworked by Pacific Coast Star that much riding
would have my lower back and shoulders hurting all the next week
but with the reworked seats we took the trip just great, Tracy and
myself would like to thank PCS for a GREAT PAIR of SEATS.

I do not give testimonials
often, but Cary and Greg deserve accolades and praise for the customer
service and great V* products. I’d have to say the seat upgrade
was the best money spent on my bike and bottom. I can now ride all
day long, while beforehand I only could spend an hour on the stock
saddle! Not to mention it really looks great (potato chip), many
observers comment on the seat. I also got the AIS kit from Pacific
Coast Star, which help stop the annoying popping and backfires.
My Cobra’s now have a better sound if that is possible. I’ll soon
to add the lowering kit; I know I’ll be happy with the lowing kit,
as I’ve been with all the products they offer. Keep up the great
work guys, you deserve all the good fortune for all the great customer
service and advise you have offered me this year
Sincerely,Richard R Berke

I have to start off
with a big thanks to Cary and Greg, they are two great guys. There
workmanship is nothing but the best. You wouldn't believe the difference
a seat could make. I have a little over 2,000 miles on this seat(orignal
exchange). I can ride a lot longer with no pain in my lower back
or butt. With this seat, I know I will be taking longer trips.

Hi Cary, Well I finally
got the new seat installed between rain showers and got a sunny
88 degree day today to try it out. It's just what I've wanted, as
a return again rider after a long layoff I feel much more comfortable
on the bike now. The new seat sits slightly lower and I feel part
of the bike rather then sitting on the bike and I'm much more comfortable.
You guys are professionals and it's been a pleasure doing business
with you.

Saw a post about PCS on ISRA and figured I'd give it a shot. Overnighted
my seat to PCS (long story.....remember?!) and they sent me back
MY seat a few days later. All I can say is WOW!!!! I am no longer
aching after a few miles on the road!!! The best $ I spent on my
bike yet!!!!!
Thanks guys!!!!Barry Street
